Medieval Cogs in Rye

Hi all,
I’m playing catch up, so here are some photos from our game in Rye, NY last Friday.
We played a medieval cog sea battle from the Hundred Year’s War.  It was good practice for me to run this game since I will be hosting it in several sessions all day on Friday at Historicon as part of the convention kids program.
You might notice one of the kids holding a phone in several of the photos.  Normally, phones are not allowed in any games, but one of our regulars was on vacation in England and didn’t want to miss the game.  So his friends zoomed him in and he played one of the ships by phone.  It was actually pretty funny hearing him on the phone when his ship was boarded.
The Cogs are from John Manning’s collection that he had not painted.  The Connecticut crew spent a few days assembling and painting them just for these games.  I have attached a few photos of the assembly line back in February.  The project was a lot of fun.
In any case, enjoy the photos.
