Hi All,
Here are some photos from yesterday’s game of the Siege of Acre. Oscar showed up an hour early to help set up. James did “homework” consisting of a nice summary of the battle and the Third Crusade in general. James little brother also played for a bit with their mom, but aren’t in the group photo. This is one of the more popular games. Richard the Lionheart is always a big draw.
I wanted to use all of my Saracen cavalry, so I worked in a relief force into the scenario. The defenders charged out the breach and tried to link up. It was pretty close. Everyone had a great time.
They want me to run this next month at the Ridgefield Renaissance Fair. I’m also thinking it might be a fun option for Historicon. Feel free to share the photos.
