Hi all,
Just a quick update. Basically, Next Gen is really starting to roll.
We started the week with Jared and Kelly running a WWI gaming event at the Greenwich, CT library on Monday. The good news here is that they were blown away and signed up for monthly events through the end of the year. Good job Jared!
Then just today we ran two separate events. I ran another WWI game at the Darien library for kids on the younger side. See the first three photos below. Darien loves the kids program and after today, now wants to expand to the adult program. This is really good news since the adult programming budget is huge!
Also today, Jared and Kelly ran our first ever “corporate” event for some county employees in New Jersey. I’m not sure where, but Jared will fill me in more later. These are the second 3 photos. Once again, from the brief text I received, it was basically a team building event and went great. This is also good news, since these corporate events can be very lucrative.
On Sunday, I will be running another WWI game in New Canaan. Now that school has started, they wanted to try a weekend date. It’s sold out, so I’ll have my hands full. The good news here is that the library directors from Wilton and Stamford will be attending as guests, and I fully expect to sign them up as new clients as well.
The Wilton library is literally 2 miles from the site of the 1777 Battle of Ridgefield, so you can guess what our first game will be there. I need to paint Benedict Arnold !
So basically 4 events in one week. Now Yale is coming up, and Jim Stanton just landed another huge gig in Stamford. I won’t steal his thunder, but October and the rest of the year are now really filling up.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Fall-In ! Feel free to share, and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
John
